For two weeks KEIN.TV was on the ground gathering news and covering the strike of retail workers in Haldensleben near Magdeburg. Together with the striking workers in Hamburg they set up a website: http://www.hws-im-streik.de which features texts, images and videos live from the actions and demonstrations. The workers demand from the employer "Hermes Warehousing Solutions" fair wage and better working conditions. This panel with Irit Rogoff and Lawrence Liang, moderated by Florian Schneider, took place on Oktober 11th 2006 in the context of the Workshop on "Collaboration". The Workshop took place at the Steirischer Herbst, from Oktober 7th - 13th 2006 and discussed and explored different notions on collaboration.

The monstrous Sacred Heart of Jesus statue has turned its back to the european continent, as if it wants to pay all attention to the sea. A fresh breeze is coming up, as every evening in Tarifa. A glaring red towboat of the coastguards, flanked by a speedboat of the Guardia Civil, is slowly appearing behind the holy statue, that is enthroning above the water on the very end of the breakwater wall in its sulcated robe. On the tow line of the two boats is a dinghy, that has obviously rousen the border guards. On board are about 50 passengers, whose trip has come to an end for now.
